From first conversation to your wedding day. A Wild Autumn wedding cake is not an off-the-shelf purchase. It’s a bespoke collaboration that begins the moment you get in touch and ends with a unique wedding cake made just for you. Here’s how it works.
1. Enquiry
Tell me about your day: your date, your venue, your vision. I’ll come back to you within 48 hours to let you know whether your date is available, and I’ll send you an initial price guide so you have a clear sense of investment from the start.

2. Consultation & Booking
We’ll meet on Zoom for a chat about your wedding. You can tell me about the vision, the design, florals, the scale and all the details that will make your day unique. Once confirmed in writing, and a non-refundable £250 booking fee you will secure your date in my diary.
3. Your Cake Tasting Box
Once your date is secured, you can order a bespoke tasting box with six flavours chosen from my signature menu based on our conversation. Taste them in your own time, with whoever you want around you.

4. Your Flavours Confirmed & a Beautiful Design Sketch
Once you’ve chosen your flavours, I’ll create a beautiful design sketch - a loose, intuitive starting point that captures the direction we’ve discussed. It’s not a rigid blueprint; the decoration always evolves organically in the studio. But it gives you a sense of where we’re headed. View Flavours →
5. Final Details
Eight weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a final check-in to confirm every last detail: design, delivery, venue setup, and anything that’s changed since we last spoke.

6. Creation
Your bespoke wedding cake is baked, filled, and decorated entirely by hand in my studio the week of your wedding. Every wedding cake is fondant-free, finished in white chocolate ganache, and the florals are hand-sculpted petal by petal from Belgian white chocolate. The whole thing comes together organically from your brief. This is the part I love most.
7. Delivery & the Setup
I personally deliver and set up your hand-sculpted wedding cake at your venue and liaise with your catering or planning team. Get in Touch →

My luxury wedding cakes start from £1,100. Each commission is priced individually based on the number of tiers, the complexity of the florals and your chosen flavours. I’ll give you a clear, itemised quote before you secure me for your wedding cake. Wild Autumn cakes are priced by tier configuration and complexity of the design. Each cake is bespoke, built around your brief, finished with hand-sculpted Belgian white chocolate florals, made using luxury ingredients including Isigny Sainte-Mère butter, organic eggs, and specially selected artisan preserves.

As soon as you can. I take a maximum of ten to twelve commissions per year, and popular dates, particularly spring and summer Saturdays, fill quickly. Twelve to eighteen months ahead of your wedding is ideal, though it's always worth enquiring even if your date is sooner.

Yes. I take wedding cake delivery very seriously. I'm based in Hertfordshire and deliver across the UK, including London, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, the Cotswolds, and beyond. I personally deliver and set up every hand-sculpted wedding cake using an industry-leading Cake Safe system, which holds the cake in a secure temperature-controlled environment from my studio to your venue. No one knows how to handle a Wild Autumn cake like I do, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with something this important on your wedding day. Delivery is quoted individually based on distance and venue access.

Yes, and a wedding cake tasting one of my favourite parts of the process. You choose six flavours from my signature menu, and I'll post a bespoke tasting box straight to your door. Taste them in your own time with family, with friends, or just the two of you with a glass of something good. No rushing, no pressure, no decisions on the spot.

This depends on how you plan to serve it. Evening portions are smaller (1" x 1") than dessert portions (1" x 2"), so the same cake goes further if served later in the evening. As a general guide, allow for around 75-80% of your guest numbers if serving in the evening, as not everyone will take a slice.
If you need to cater for larger numbers without increasing the size of your display cake, a cutting cake served from the kitchen is a simple solution. Equally, if you love the look of a larger cake but don't need the portions, a faux tier can be incorporated, though it's worth knowing that the majority of the cost reflects the artistry rather than the cake itself.
